Priya Mani and Mamta in "Sabarimala Sree Ayyappan"
Kaushik Bahu plays the title role of Swami Aiyappan. The film is being produced by Anaswara Charitable Trust in Guruvayur. Others in the cast include Mohini, Thilakan and Biju Menon. The director has plans to feature most of the leading stars of Tamil and Malayalam film industry in the climax scene.
The film will have some novel graphics and sound effects. Each year, millions of devotees throng Sabarimalai in Kerala during November-January. This film releases during this season as a tribute to those devotees and comes out with the full history of the life and times of the Lord. The film is being released in Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously.
Rameshbabu is the cinematographer and Umashankarbabu is the editor of the film. For music director Mohan Sithara, this will be his 301st film.
