Mollywood Joins Hands For Chennai

Chennai is witnessing the worst disaster in recent times. The flood has made the life of the common a hell. Now, many stars from Mollywood have raised a helping hand, transforming themselves into real heroes. Stars like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Manju Warrier, Kaniha and directors like Ashiq Abu have already marked their presence.

Mammootty along with his son Dulquer Salmaan has donated 5 lakhs for the relief fund of Chennai. Mohanlal along with some of his friends has also donated 5 lakhs. Actress Manju Warrier is well known for her social commitment. She proved this always by involving herself in various social activities. She has donated 1 lakh for this cause.

Director Ashiq Abu has set his journey to Chennai with a team. He will be providing some essential goods to the people suffering from the flood. Kaniha, who is already a Chennai resident, is involved in the rescue operations. They prove, they are not just celebrities, hidden inside the glamour world, but are common people, who will be there for the needy.
