Chattambinadu is comedy based action thriller where Mammootty plays Veerendra Mallaya, a Karnataka-based Malayalee estate owner with Kannada accent, his accent and mannerisms are the highlights of this movie. Lakshmi Rai is the lead actress. This is third time Lakshmi Rai teams up with Mammootty, the earlier being Annan Thambi and Parunthu. Siddhique plays an important role. Salim Kumar and Suraj Venjarammood add glittery to the film.
